[WARE HOUSE "Lot.2205" 1920'S WW1 STYLE U.S.NAVY 13STARS PEA COAT(Denim)]
A pea coat made from WAREHOUSE's indigo denim.
This WW1 pea coat was manufactured in the early days and is said to have the most beautiful design among naval uniforms.
In the late 1800s, the U.S. Navy took inspiration from Britain and created an original style of pea coat.
4 pockets (the waist pocket was removed in the 1930s), 10 long buttons (later the length was changed to 8 buttons)
It stands out from later models with features such as 13 star and anchor buttons.
This style was issued from around the 1910s until the 1930s, and replaced the elegant style with something more simple.
The overall silhouette is a little roomy.
The width and armholes have just the right amount of room, so you can match it with any style, such as a T-shirt or sweatshirt.
